Newborn hearing screening and diagnosis:
(1) Screening objects:
1. Initial screening for 72-120 hours (3-5 days).
2. If the newborn did not receive hearing screening at the time of birth, the initial screening failed.
3. Infants under the age of 3 have one of the following high risk factors.
1 The monitoring time in the neonatal intensive care unit is more than 24 hours.
2 family history of hearing impairment
3 cytomegalovirus, rubella virus, herpes virus, syphilis or toxoplasma cause intrauterine infection.
4 craniofacial malformations, deaf education, including auricle and ear canal malformations.
5 birth weight is less than 1500 grams
6 suffering from hyperbilirubinemia.
7 used ototoxic drugs.
8 suffering from bacterial meningitis
9 Apgar score at birth is less than 4 points.
10 Use a respirator for more than 5 days.
(11) There is a clinically suspected syndrome associated with hearing impairment or sensory nerve dysfunction.
